This Saturday we volunteered for LaCasa of Goshen’s Help-A-House 2007. For the past 3 years, we’ve signed up as a group with our friends from lifeSOURCE (our church group from Zion Chapel). This year we thought we were doing demo, but instead we found ourselves part of another group of 12 people re-roofing a house. Hmmm…24 people working on 1 small roof? We were skeptical.
One of our local newstations, WNDU Channel 16, came out to our job site to shoot some footage and get a couple of interviews. So, I get my 4 seconds of fame for volunteering actual manual labor on a lovely Saturday in May. Check out the interview here: “Help A House Hits Goshen”
